We’re seeking an experienced Cassandra Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable and high performance Cassandra-based systems.

What you’ll be doing...

  • Taking ownership on feature delivery from design through development and testing to full scale deployment.

  • Leading by being a role model of engineering excellence delivering products in high quality and cadence.

  • Collaborating to solve problems and overcome design challenges with team/scrum members and colleagues.

What we’re looking for...


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design and development, expertise in Cassandra, and expertise with distributed database systems.

- Design and implement Cassandra data models and schema

- Design high-performance Cassandra-based applications using Java, Python, or Scala

- Write efficient Cassandra queries and optimize data retrieval

- Implement data migration and integration strategies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Cassandra with other systems

- Troubleshoot and optimize Cassandra performance issues

- Ensure data consistency, availability, and partition tolerance.
- Stay up-to-date with Cassandra advancements and apply new features

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelors degree or six or more years of experience.

  • Experience with Cassandra design, development

  • Strong understanding of Cassandra data modeling, architecture, and query optimization

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Scala)

  • Experience with Cassandra drivers and tools (e.g., cqlsh, Cassandra-driver)

  • Understanding of distributed database systems and NoSQL concepts Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Cassandra. Distributed database systems and NoSQL concepts. Data modeling and schema design. Query optimization and performance tuning
