What you’ll be doing...

This Technical Project Manager within GN&T Technology and Product Development (TPD) is responsible for leading the technology delivery of VBG Products. The role works very closely with TPD Product Engineering, Engineering Development, Network and GTS. The programs in scope include IoT and Network as a Service Cloud Management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Managing cross-functional project teams and stakeholders utilizing project management processes.

  • Facilitating requirements gathering, design and story grooming sessions with technology, network and product teams.

  • Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Establishing project plans.

  • Communicating metrics and risks.

  • Facilitating issues resolution across multiple teams and managing escalations.

  • Reporting project status utilizing various tools including Jira, Confluence and Smartsheet

  • Embracing agile practices and driving transformation.

  • Ensuring delivery of VBG projects are on-time and within budget.

  • Leveraging and enhancing existing best practices within TPD.

  • Providing executive level reporting.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Even better if you have the following:

  • Extensive program and project management experience involving initiatives with significant cross-functional dependencies.

  • Experience project managing in the product space.

  • Experience managing NaaS and IoT projects/products.

  • Understanding of network software development.

  • Track record of successfully leading large complex initiatives.

  • Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written.

  • Significant experience in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and create efficiencies.

  • Proven ability to influence management decisions.

  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with senior leadership.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $124,000.00 and $231,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
