What you’ll be doing...

As a Principal Engineer – Full Stack, you will lead the architecture discussions and development of the Digital Sales Product. You will be leading discussions to elicit business requirements to define and deliver architectural solutions for enterprise status and tasking systems. You will drive the end-to-end process and solution to successfully complete large impactful programs on time with well-managed scopes and costs.

  • Providing technical leadership while driving & developing artifacts for order status and task management architecture, re-usability, modularity, and scalability across the multiple layers and applying architecture patterns and principles.

  • Promoting, implementing, and educating about Agile software development.

  • Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of development efforts with business objectives.

  • Stakeholder management to drive product life cycle end to end

  • Establishing relationships and work with managers at all levels independently.

  • Identifying and articulating the problem statement and openly bringing up challenges, roadblocks and impediments, negotiating, influencing and driving solutions with directors and for tactical and strategic enterprise architecture approach and business capabilities.

  • Leveraging industry trends to drive innovation and solution excellence across various functional domains within the Verizon Consumer Group Organization.

  • Managing the governance, relationship and performance management of vendors who are under contract to provide new development & maintenance support.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience with J2EE and Java technologies (Full Stack), React/Angular

  • Experience in Spring reactive, Cassandra, Redis

  • Experience Monitoring tools such as Kibana, New Relic and Grafana

  • Working experience with modular code development, micro services, design pattern and multi-threading

  • Experience with Junit, Maven, GIT prehooks.

  • Well-versed with Agile Methodologies.

  • Experience in cloud computing, rules engine, spring integration and caching

  • Experience with Cloud and Kubernetes technologies with AWS, EKS respectively

  • Experience with API and backend client/server architecture

  • Knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development and agile methodology

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in articulating the business drives and architectural approach

  • Experience with Data warehousing and Application Development using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL

  • Demonstrated data-driven mindset and decision-making skills,

  • Experience with AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI

  • Experience migrating applications to Cloud.

  • Experience leading software developers, systems or process analysts
