We are seeking a Lead Experience Designer to join our Managing team, where we are iteratively designing and developing best in class experiences for our customers. Join us to help set new standards in our category and make our customer services management a truly reliable, simple and exceptional experience.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Leading cross-disciplinary teams on complex design programs to deliver great experiences and business outcomes.

  • Defining and aligning teams around a design vision and are accountable for solutions and quality across the whole customer journey.

  • Leading the design process for multiple products, from concept to implementation. Providing creative and strategic direction to the design team, ensuring a coherent and compelling design experience across products.

  • Planning and facilitating team activities for creative concepting, combined with hands on work, while planning overall approach in partnership with leaders.

  • Guiding and mentoring junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

  • Working closely with experience managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with business objectives, technical constraints, and user needs.

  • Understanding the broader user's journey with a product, and defining and creating content that is accessible, understandable, actionable, and engaging across touchpoints to shape experiences that transform customers into advocates.

  • Playing a role in evolving the design system by facilitating discussions about proposed updates and tradeoffs and participating in feedback opportunities.

  • Establishing best practices for design in shared tools and software.

  • Guiding exploration, refinement, and documentation to be comprehensive and thorough.

  • Presenting design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, communicating rationale for design decisions, in business terms.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience (product design).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in design or related field of study.

  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma.

  • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about user needs and business goals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • A strong grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

  • Proven record of leading design projects

  • A strong portfolio showcasing complex solutions for digital environments, customer retention, or services management.

  • Experience with agile methodology and tools.

  • Experience with Smart Sheets and/or Google Suite.

  • Experience implementing best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $127,000.00 and $236,000.00 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
