Consultant - Human Resources Business Partner
Shape the Future of Verizon Ireland
Are you a passionate and driven HR professional eager to make a tangible impact? Verizon is seeking a Consultant - Human Resources Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping our vibrant and growing presence in Ireland.
You will be a strategic advisor and trusted partner to our regional leadership team, navigating the complexities of employment law, driving cultural initiatives, and championing our people-first philosophy. This role demands agility, resilience, and a passion for navigating a dynamic environment.
What You’ll be doing:
Contribute directly to building a thriving and inclusive culture in our newly established Limerick office, fostering a positive and engaging environment for all.

You will also play a key role in managing employee sick leave, focusing on early intervention, clear communication about sick pay and income protection, and ensuring a supportive experience for employees.
Partner with functional HRBPs, HR Answers and stakeholders to implement and manage impactful HR programs and initiatives across all Verizon entities in Ireland.
Lead the charge in implementing and managing organisational changes, ensuring seamless collaboration and procedural accuracy.
Proactively analyse and mitigate country-specific risks, working closely with key stakeholders to develop and execute effective solutions.
Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes, driving efficiency and a positive employee experience. You will play a key role in liaising with benefit providers and ensuring seamless communication of benefit information to our employees.
Proactively manage employee relations queries and cases, demonstrating sound judgment in identifying and mitigating risks, collaborating effectively with internal advisors when necessary, and ensuring sensitive and timely resolution in line with policies, processes and legislation.
And so much more! This is a dynamic role with responsibilities that extend beyond this description, offering the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of HR initiatives.
