Apprentice for a Student in Master 1 or Master 2 - Human Resources Projects & generic support

Supporting the overall in-region people strategy, the Apprentice – Human Resources Projects focuses for the French-based entities on:

  • providing support on HR projects including HR data management for HRBP, Social & Business stakeholders
  • improving processes and the communication related to a broad range of processes in respect to the employment lifecycle

The position holder works in under the responsibility of the Country HRBP and in partnership with other Global HR Team members and managers. The scope of the HR action is related to the two entities based in France.

As an active member of the Verizon Team through the world, the person will also ensure working effectively in line with Verizon’s Code of Conduct and the organizational culture.

This position provides an intensive, fast track development opportunity for an early-in-career people professional seeking to progress into a Human Resources Business Partner or Projects position internally or externally.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

HR Projects’ support & HR data management :

  • support the stakeholders in projects’ planning management, administrative activities, data collection, data crunching, reporting and communication. Projects can be related to organizational change, HRIS, legal change, people development, employment dashboard
  • develop the country HR reporting, dashboard and infography for the different stakeholders in France in respect of Training, performance/development interviews, absences management, BDESE, DUERPS.
  • Risk management and well-being at work : participate in designing and implementing the prevention’s action plan.

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the improvement of policies and processes. Propose improvement and initiatives to raise awareness and gain efficiency.
  • Proactively propose communication initiatives and opportunities to improve people management standards, employee experiences, and / or employee engagement levels.
  • Manage the HR communication on various support (GDrive, Group intranet, Slack)

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Competencies

Qualifications:

  • Business school or University Master 1 level, preferably in human resource management, employment legislation

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience of work in English language
  • Previous experience in a HR social related position - desirable
  • Previous experience in a customer facing position - desirable
