What you’ll be doing...
At Verizon, we do much more than sell technology. We also secure the digital transformation of both global enterprise and government.
In this key strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for our Security Sales Go to Market (GTM) across the Asia Pacific region working with Verizon’s core sales and solution architecture teams to maximize the growth of our cybersecurity business and continue to enhance our client experience and innovate around services and solutions. Your leadership of the Security Sales teams in building their success, and ensuring they are focused and driving to the right client solutions towards Verizon objectives will be crucial.
Key factors around what you will be doing.
Defining the regional cybersecurity sales strategy and plans to execute aligned to the targets of the business.
Organizing your teams to maximize success, ensuring training, development, support, time allocation and opportunity pursuits are cared for and aligned to your leadership goals.
Forging relationships across the customer base to ensure customer satisfaction and growth and to adjust account management and resourcing as required.
Build internal and external partner relationships so the voice and agenda of the APAC security business is heard and represented and aligned to Verizon’s goals.
Ensure financial reporting and management aligned to key performance KPI’s
Build a winning culture based on integrity, kindness, shared success and high performance.
What we’re looking for...
Someone with proven leadership success in the cybersecurity market who has built and led teams to growth and success with a strong understanding of managed services, consulting services and cyber security technologies. A leader who inspires their team for success and for continuous personal development as well as someone who will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic market and sales environment and who relishes the challenge of their goals every day.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Ten or more years work experience in Cybersecurity.
Six or more years leading a high performing Sales team.
Proven success in sells and sales leadership of large transformational Cybersecurity solutions.
Knowledge and execution of Sales Management including forecasting, gap/fit analysis, KPI creation, strategic account planning, etc.
Experience in Consulting Services, Security Operations, Marketing, Product.
Extensive C-level relationships across APAC region.
Willingness to travel across APAC region and US as required.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Ability to coach and motivate members of the team.
Experience in Australian Government Sales and Government security clearance.
Solid experience on managing complex and end to end technology solutions deals.'
Sales Financial management capabilities aligned to structured organizational planning and discipline.
Experience in consulting with CXO level executives within customer base.
