  • Assisting senior management with making critical business decisions by providing the accurate accounting treatment and impact analysis.

  • Working with department and business leaders on front-end process ideas, solutions and change.

  • Establishing, maintaining and supporting compliance with company-wide accounting policies.

  • Researching accounting issues and preparing accounting documentation to ensure compliance with GAAP.

  • Reviewing and providing technical mentorship for material transactions and complex accounting and reporting issues and providing subject matter expertise on the application of accounting principles.

  • Supporting implementation of new accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory accounting.

  • Accelerating transformation and change, crafting standard methodologies and driving continuous process improvement.

  • Supporting preparation of financial statements and external reporting requirements.

  • Researching emerging accounting and reporting issues and prepare and submit comment letters on behalf of the Company.

  • Providing mentorship and support for other finance and business unit initiatives.

  • Supporting quarterly close process and related disclosures.

  • Interacting with the Company's external auditors.

What we’re looking for...

You’re diligent, organized, and on top of the details—your projects run like clockwork. You can look at the big picture and see how the pieces fit together. You can lead all aspects of multiple initiatives like a conductor leads an orchestra. Working independently is as comfortable for you as being part of a team. And you know accounting like the back of your hand.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Active CPA certification.

  • Knowledge of FASB and SEC requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accounting best practices, and cross functional accounting impacts.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent.

  • Four or more years of public accounting or Big 4 experience.

  • Demonstrated strong technical financial skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting, GAAP, PCAOB standards and SEC regulations.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Established project management experience and ability to work with numerous diverse groups throughout a very large organization.

  • Demonstrated track record of attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills.

  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, SEC requirements and tax reporting.

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in compressed time periods.

  • Knowledge of the complexities of a large global company and ability to operate within a matrix environment.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
