What you’ll be doing...
You’ll ensure that all is running efficiently for the executives in your group. You’ll be answering calls, greeting guests, planning travel, scheduling appointments, handling travel expenses, and essentially looking after the day-to-day operations in the office. Your role is essential to building an environment where everyone can do their best work.
We are seeking a proactive, highly organization, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the SVP & VP of Partner Channels. In this critical role you will ensure the SVP’s & VP’s day to day operations run smoothly by managing complex schedules, coordinating communication, and handling high-level administrative tasks. This position requires discretion, efficiency, and the ability to anticipate the leadership needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Manage & prioritize the leadership's complex calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments and travel. Coordinate with internal & external stakeholders to arrange meetings, events, and conference calls. Resolve scheduling conflicts promptly & professionally.
Act as the primary point of contact between the SVP/VP and internal/external stakeholders.
Plan and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, transportation, and itineraries. Handle expense reporting and reimbursement processes.
Assist with special projects, research, and preparation of materials for meetings. Track key initiatives and provide status updates as required.
Maintain files, records, and confidential information. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from meetings. Oversee the procurement of office supplies and resources for the SVP’s and VP's needs.
This role requires VCG in-office days of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).
What we’re looking for...
You’re motivated by being an integral part of the team, doing your part to enable others to do their job well. You enjoy a fast-paced environment and working towards tight deadlines. You’re phenomenal at developing your own process that keeps you organized and on schedule, while ensuring those you support stay prepared and informed. You are ready to lend a hand to others—and happy to do what it takes to support the team.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
Administrative experience supporting senior-level executives.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience with Google products.
Demonstrated ability to stay organized, meet deadlines and work independently.
Experience and demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties.
Experience handling highly confidential information appropriately.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
