What you’ll be doing...
The Verizon Consumer Group Strategy & Operations Organization is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Associate Vice President and 3 executive leaders. You will be responsible for supporting the Channel Technology and Transformation organization.In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support and organizational tasks to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly for the executives and their teams. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Coordinating complex calendars, including scheduling and arranging meetings - while maintaining sensitivity to changing priorities.
In some cases, coordinating on-site multi-day meetings which include catering, greeting guests and external partner teams, etc.
Planning travel including extensive support of international travel for executives and their teams, managing expenses, and overseeing/ensuring safe arrival/transport to and from various international locations, which will require flexible hours.
Creating, processing, inspecting, and validating team travel & expenses - ensuring compliance with travel policies.
Attending meetings and recording meeting discussion notes and actions, as needed.
Tracking and following up on action items to ensure timely completion of work.
Preparing presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other correspondence using Google Suite (and other various software platforms).
Managing sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Screening and prioritizing communications - both external and internal.
Acting as a representative and ambassador to external partners
Small to medium project management.
Performing ad hoc project-related duties as needed.
Working well independently and under pressure.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
Project management experience in the areas of strategic thinking, managing competing priorities, and proactive solutions.
Two or more years of Executive support experience.
Proficiency in Google’s G-Suite (e.g., Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
Experience building relationships with large complex teams in a high-performance environment.
Experience with expense management and/or travel logistics, event planning.
Experience in preparing meeting agendas and minutes,organizing meeting materials, taking notes, and/or distributing summaries.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Willingness to work a hybrid schedule as set by your manager based out of a hub location.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience with facilitation and communication across all levels of the organization.
Experience collaborating with internal and external partners.
Five or more years of administrative experience.
