What you’ll be doing...

The Verizon Consumer Group Strategy & Operations Organization is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Associate Vice President and 3 executive leaders. You will be responsible for supporting the Channel Technology and Transformation organization.In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support and organizational tasks to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly for the executives and their teams. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating complex calendars, including scheduling and arranging meetings - while maintaining sensitivity to changing priorities.

  • In some cases, coordinating on-site multi-day meetings which include catering, greeting guests and external partner teams, etc.

  • Planning travel including extensive support of international travel for executives and their teams, managing expenses, and overseeing/ensuring safe arrival/transport to and from various international locations, which will require flexible hours.

  • Creating, processing, inspecting, and validating team travel & expenses - ensuring compliance with travel policies.

  • Attending meetings and recording meeting discussion notes and actions, as needed.

  • Tracking and following up on action items to ensure timely completion of work.

  • Preparing presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other correspondence using Google Suite (and other various software platforms).

  • Managing sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

  • Screening and prioritizing communications - both external and internal.

  • Acting as a representative and ambassador to external partners

  • Small to medium project management.

  • Performing ad hoc project-related duties as needed.

  • Working well independently and under pressure.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

  • Project management experience in the areas of strategic thinking, managing competing priorities, and proactive solutions.

  • Two or more years of Executive support experience.

  • Proficiency in Google’s G-Suite (e.g., Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication.

  • Experience building relationships with large complex teams in a high-performance environment.

  • Experience with expense management and/or travel logistics, event planning.

  • Experience in preparing meeting agendas and minutes,organizing meeting materials, taking notes, and/or distributing summaries.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule as set by your manager based out of a hub location.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience with facilitation and communication across all levels of the organization.

  • Experience collaborating with internal and external partners.

  • Five or more years of administrative experience.
