What you will be doing

As the AI&D Engineer III Consultant-Data Science for Business Enablement group for Customer Experience, you will act as an AI Integrator between AI&D and business teams and will be responsible for business engagement and building innovative solutions by applying cutting edge data science and machine learning techniques in the service domain.

  • Performing thorough data analysis, uncover opportunities and address business problems.

  • Engaging with key business stakeholders in discussions on opportunities where data science and AI can be leveraged.

  • Deriving actionable insights, perform analysis, uncover opportunities and build analytical models to facilitate decision making.

  • Having a passion to understand domains, systems and be able to associate business opportunities to this understanding and create analytical solutions.

  • Engaging closely with architects as well as the business, understand problem statements and discover insights using data modeling and analysis techniques that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

  • Analyzing and build data science solutions that drive product effectiveness, personalization, better customer experience and operational efficiencies across projects.

  • Working with a talented team of data analysts, software developers, data science professionals and deliver the next generation data science solutions to the business.

  • Cross-team collaboration – Working closely with other AI & D pillars like data engineering and ML engineering

  • Driving technical innovation through active research and applications of new theories, techniques, and technologies.

What we are looking for:

You have excellent analytical skills, and are eager to work in a collaborative environment with global teams to drive data science applications to business problems and develop use cases to enhance Customer Experience. You are able to connect the domain and technical aspects very well and are always willing to learn new technologies. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to interact with various stakeholders and cross functional teams to implement data science driven business solutions.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of work experience in IT and Business Units driving data science solutions for enabling effective business outcomes.

  • Experience building detailed and compelling end to end business cases.

  • Excellent knowledge of data elements in the Wireless domain.

  • Excellent working knowledge of SQL & Python

  • Good communication, presentation and collaboration skills.

  • Good data analysis skills.

  • Assertive and objective decision-making skills with the drive to deliver and arrive at solutions.

  • Excellent background in Machine Learning, practical experience in building and implementing predictive models to solve business problems.

  • Good knowledge of applying statistical techniques to solve business problems

Even better you have one or more of the following:

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.

  • Experience with data mining and visualization.

  • Experience creating compelling narratives to influence decision makers.

Experience interacting and collaborating deeply with other lines of business & the ability to work across cross cultural teams.
