What you’ll be doing...
Verizon is seeking a passionate and talented Engineer II to join our growing AI/ML team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for various business challenges. You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers and data scientists to build scalable and high-performing AI/ML systems.
Developing, optimizing, and implementing AI/ML algorithms using Python, CI/CD practices, and JavaScript frameworks.
Contributing to developing distributed computing solutions for large-scale data processing.
Implementing and analyzing advanced algorithms’ performance, leveraging your understanding of deep learning and generative AI techniques.
Collaborating with team members to design and develop robust AI/ML pipelines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in AI/ML.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
Experience on Model-serving /inferencing platform
One or more years of experience developing and implementing AI/ML solutions using Python.
Strong knowledge of fundamental algorithms and data structures.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master’s degree or related filed.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
