What you'll be doing…

We are looking for a Distinguished Engineer Consultant for the S4 HANA Finance Centre of Excellence who would lead the Finance Deliverables and own the Finance Product area.

As Finance Architect in the IT Corporate Systems group, you will be part of the Finance Functional team supporting and driving strategic and transformation initiatives and Business critical projects in 1ERP. 1ERP is a multi-year program to consolidate various ERP platforms into a single ERP platform to drive efficiencies. The primary function of this role is intended to take a broad-based view of business processes across core functional domains for both US and global business entities.

What we're looking for…

Must Have:

ERP Skillsets:

Experience working on at least four full life cycle implementation projects in SAP S4 HANA since 2015.

Experience in all phases of Implementation, Strategic Transformation Consulting, Business Blueprint, Process Simplification, GAP Analysis, Realization, Cut over, Post Implementation support until Transition Management

Experience in setting up standards in S4HANA CoE for BRDs, KDDS, Functional Specifications, guidance on Technical specifications & Standards, Peer to peer Review standards

Experience in preparation & review of functional specification design & interact with technical team for different RICEFW (reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements, forms, workflows objects)

Experience in Configuration of General Ledger account (FI-G/L), Taxes (Vertex), Accounts Payable (FI-A/P), Bank Communication Management, Treasury integration with S4HANA Finance, Wire payments, Bank reconciliation , Inhouse Cash, Intercompany matching reconciliation, Service PO Accruals and S4HANA Accrual Engine, JE Workflow, GLSU, S4HANA 2022 Group Reporting

Exposure in Group Reporting - Analysis for Office Reporting from a functional standpoint.

Experience in S4 HANA Accounting based COPA

Experience in cross module integration like FI-MM module and FSCM (IHC), ICMR, Accruals, Assets and Plant Maintenance integration with MM from an Equipment maintenance perspective

Expert knowledge in New Asset Accounting, Good understanding of Investment Management, Project Systems & Asset Management processes, PS integration with Finance and Procurement.

Expert Knowledge in Central Finance

Exposure to Profitability and Performance Management

Exposure to Revenue Accounting and Recognition (RAR) and FICA

Experience handling various stakeholders, understanding of Product Platform Operating model in an eco-system that includes SAP, NonSAP, Other ERP systems and in house products and SAAS products

Experience in handling the technical nuances in S4HANA that has touch points with multiple and varied peripheral systems

Leadership

Effective Communication and Business Presentation skills

Good Interpersonal skills handling multiple stakeholders

Should have played Client interfacing role at least in 4 Programs

Thought leadership in S4 HANA Finance Centre of Excellence

Experience in Business Process Improvements, should have led Process Simplification exercise for at least one client

Good knowledge in Supply chain process like Source To Pay, Inventory Management, Order to Cash

SAP Professional Certification in S4HANA Financials & Management Accounting (1709 onwards)

You'll need to have:

Bachelors degree or six or more years of experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

More than 15 years of SAP FICO Experience with S4HANA Experience since 2015

Finance domain experience

MBA Finance/ CA/ Other professional certification in Accounting/Finance.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Good to Have:

Understanding of processes in BRIM (Subscription Order Management, Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing)

Added advantage: Other certifications like SAP Activate, Central Finance

Regular participation in Industrial events, Speaker in SAP Insider events

Exposure in handling RFP Solutions, understanding of commercial models is an added advantage

Exposure in S4HANA Analytics
