What you’ll be doing...
We are looking for a Product Solution Architect to own and support the HCM and digital emp exp function under employee experience. This involves knowledge of some of the key functional areas like Core HCM, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, workplace management, workforce transformation to help drive the technical vision and roadmap across the product area while owning technical performance and system accountability. We are looking for someone that can help drive the solution across the employee experience pillar cutting across the various platforms and Tech stacks. Also collaborate and work with the platform architects across the various employee experience core platforms like ServiceNow, Workday , PeopleSoft and open source stack to drive these solutions. Advises on its implementation and ensures alignment with enterprise standards.
Working with the following key stakeholders :
Product Area Leaders - to ensure OKR alignment and successful development
Product Managers - to understand product requirements and report on progress
Product & Platform Architects – to review and ensure alignment with architecture and
security standards
Platform Leaders - to report on progress and metrics and align on priorities / roadmap
Drive the technical vision and roadmap across the Product Area while owning technical performance and system accountability
Lead solution integration efforts
Collaborate with the business and the delivery squads to iteratively design an end-to-end solution and engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and advise on technical needs
Identify required architecturally significant decisions and associated risks and design the overall technology architecture for product area
Collaborate with the Solution Train Engineers, Product Area Leaders, and Product Managers to ensure execution alignment and the successful development, release, and launch of products
Guiding and mentoring architects, including transforming business processes and driving employee experience.
Evaluating and conducting proofs of concept for open-source.
Creating and presenting and briefing to executive stakeholders.
Ability to influence stakeholders through effective communication , strong ideas and insights.
What we’re looking for...
Guide high-level architectural design decisions and designs. Someone who can define blueprints, strategies, reference architecture and roadmap. Ensure applications and solutions underneath a product area are architected to standard and integrated into the solution technology stack.
Ensure alignment of business capabilities and processes with technical architecture components that enable them. Drive people/teams in designing applications aligned to business and architectural needs. Foster collaboration between teams to enable architectural consistency. Advocate importance of architecture excellence across engineering organizations. Able to solve complex problems while working with cross-functional teams.
You’ll need to have:
10+ years of software architecture experience in an agile environment preferred
Deep knowledge of defining and evolving scalable architecture for large-scale systems
Experience leading architecture reviews and design discussions
Experience with architecture assessment and optimization
Has knowledge of IT system architectures and design principles to architect solutions in an iterative manner
Has had work experience in working with platforms like workday or peoplesoft
Technical Skills: Solution Architecture Design, Prototyping, Solution Proposal Development, Solutions Identification, Business Needs Analysis, Continuous Integration
Has expertise of 2-3 of the product areas mentioned above
Experience with Java and web technologies.
Good interpersonal skills and good communication skills
Good in documentation and presentation of architectural approaches/solutions.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF, etc.
Certifications: TOGAF, Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
