What you’ll be doing...

As the Product Development/ Management - Senior Manager, Connected Laptops Category Marketing you'll leverage your product marketing and channel strategy background for the Verizon Business Device & Device Services team. The roles' mission is to plan and execute Verizon Business' connected laptop category marketing & enablement programs. Your primary task will be managing multiple manufacturers' joint marketing budgets, campaigns, and associated initiatives. You will partner hand-in-hand with Verizon marketing, branding, legal, and sales teams to ensure Verizon’s network and sales goals are met.

  • Work closely with the device manufacturers, chipset vendors and OS/platform vendors to market solutions aligned with Verizon Business Group strategic objectives.

  • Manage marketing partnerships with mobile compute device vendors to drive business device, product and sales needs.

  • Collaborate with external vendors to support joint marketing efforts which include social media, events, seminars, sales training, etc.

  • Define key customer benefits, product use cases, and customer experience training for connected laptops in business segments, including Enterprise, Small Business, and Public Sector.

  • Support Verizon & manufacturer sales partners with joint customer negotiations.

  • Managed Joint Marketing Fund (JMF) spending & requests.

  • Responsible for driving 5G into the product ecosystem.

  • Perform analysis of launched marketing initiatives.

  • Develop executive presentations for stakeholder communications on strategic initiatives progress, risks, and launch performance.

What we’re looking for...

You have a passion for marketing and wireless business solutions. You are not afraid of a challenge and will work to find solutions to difficult problems. You have a proven track record of collaboration and embrace the opportunity to take ownership of your work.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Two or more years of experience in the telecommunications, sales, or marketing field.

  • Experience in product marketing including sales marketing.

  • Experience translating market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the business.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA or Master's is a plus.

  • Experience in wireless industries.

  • Strong working knowledge on 5G Technology / Wireless Technologies / Mobile Compute Devices (Laptops / Tablets).

  • Ability to translate technical topics into customer-facing solutions & training.

  • Juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience outlining issues/challenges, while offering viable solutions and recommendations.

  • Problem-solving and organization skills.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
