What you’ll be doing...
Working in an agile way to meet business demands, supporting sales of used devices and accessories through the reverse auction process.
Customer onboarding and contracting both supporting and leading contract negotiations
Utilizing data analytics to identify trends / issues in operational activities to provide root cause analysis partnering with the extended team
End to end management of customer orders via our SAP system (e.g., past due, accessory, early pull in’s, etc..)
Determine fair value for direct sales to customers and provide feedback via the demand request tool
Provide feedback to customers in a timely fashion when issues are highlighted
Support in developing and running RFx’s
Assist souring managers in booking savings
Support the wider Sourcing team as and when required
You will also be expected to take on additional projects as needed to support business requirements
What we’re looking for...
You are a problem solver who pays attention to detail and acts as a change agent. You will also be an excellent relationship builder with good interpersonal skills. You think both creatively and analytically. While creativity is essential, it’s also important to be capable of achieving results from that creativity.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
Willingness to continuously learn new tools, solutions, and emerging technologies.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience in telecommunications
Experience in a Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain or Strategic Sourcing support role.
Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS/CSCP
Certification in Lean Six Sigma
Ability to define and develop work products and deliverables, contribute to structure of work products, and provide ideas for improvement
Ability to work independently, as directly, with limited supervision
Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications
Ability to lead meetings/conference calls and give presentations to large audiences
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager
This role supports US operations, and as a result you’ll be required to work on some Irish public holidays for which time off will be managed in line with Verizon’s time off in lieu policy.
