What you’ll be doing...
As a key member as part of the Public Sector Federal Strategy Team enabling the custom solutions being sold by the federal sales team(s) under the EIS contract are understood by stakeholders and deemed "supportable". In this role, you will
1) work with the sales team and their support groups (Solution Architects, product mgmt., pricing/finance, etc.) to understand the solution and assist the team in documenting the solution components and mapping them to the EIS contract
2) Moderate a twice-a-week stakeholder forum where the presales team explains their solution and "back office" stakeholders can determine the fashion in which it will be successfully ordered, billed, delivered, etc.
3) Ensure that the sales enablement team successfully documents and tracks the progress of any actions arising from the call to completion.
In addition on an ad hoc basis, work with product mgmt. teams who are developing new Verizon products and services, to identify any product "gaps" that are required to be closed before ensuring that they can be added to the EIS contract.
What we’re looking for...
You will be a key member of the Public Sector Contract Strategy Team as lead in the EIS Center of Excellence. By moderating forums between cross-functional stakeholders and presale teams, you will help ensure that Verizon can not only successfully deliver these custom solutions that are desired by our customers, but also ensure that Delivery and Support functions are set up most efficiently and cost-effectively possible. You will enable Verizon Federal to play an integral part in achieving revenue targets and customer satisfaction.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Five or more years of experience working in a presales role or directly with sales teams.
Three or more years of people management experience - directly or indirectly.
Successful experience in moderating a forum of cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Experience and knowledge of Verizon products and Verizon systems
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Masters in Business Administration
Experience handling multiple projects at one time.
Federal contract exposure
Program management certifications like PMP etc.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
