What you’ll be doing...

As a Business Process Specialist for Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability, you will work closely with the lead business process architect based in the US on new or optimized processes supporting the end-to-end operations for master data management in one of our ERP systems (wSAP) that supports the wireless retail business. You will have the responsibility to create or update processes, partnering with GTS (Verizon IT) to design and integrate the technology to support the business process. When changes in technology tools are needed, you will create the business requirements, work through design, testing, training and implementation for the needed solution. You will work in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third-party partners) to facilitate and deliver the business solutions needed.

You will be responsible to:

  • Understand operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain and Sustainability in the area of master data management.

  • Conduct, design and build business process models based on best-in-class operations.

  • Identify, own, and drive resolutions to gaps in the lifecycle delivery processes.

  • Lead and guide cross-functional, internal and external teams to create and deliver complex, integrated solutions to meet our business processes and requirements.

  • Create and execute test plans to perform integrated testing and/or user acceptance testing for different bug fixes and/or project releases

  • Create and deliver training to end users.

  • Develop, train and transition to production support teams after implementation and stabilization.

What we are looking for:

You have a passion for ensuring that systems are error-free and the right technical solutions are used to address business challenges. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and can balance competing demands and priorities.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or equivalent work experience

  • Techno-functional experience with SAP application suites (SAP retail implementation)

  • Experience in leading cross functional teams with understanding of how business and technical requirements interweave to create product solutions

  • Knowledge of systems development life cycle within a large global enterprise environment

  • Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements

  • Experience in communicating (written and spoken) highly technical, multi-faceted solutions to business partners in a simple, understandable manner

  • Ability to manage competing priorities

  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organization and project management skills

  • Experience using OpenText (previously Micro Focus) ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for testing and defect management

  • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications

Even Better if you have:

  • Master’s degree

  • Successful experience with strategic solutions and/or systems integration design and solutions

  • SAP Certification in SAP Master Data Management

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
