Verizon Business is seeking a dynamic and strategic AVP of Managed Connectivity & Solutions to lead our Fixed, Wireless, Broadband & Internet of Things portfolio, driving growth and innovation in a $1.5B+ business. Success in this role will require a strong business visionary, record of product-led growth, a general manager-like ownership of the portfolio including channels to market, relationships with industry & internal leadership. Strong emphasis will be given to industry thought leadership, customer relationships, strong product leadership, strategic vision, and execution record, organization building, inspiration & revenue growth.

What you'll be doing:

• Identify multi-year growth opportunities, and establish vision & strategy that sets Verizon up to realize market-leading growth in a 20%+ CAGR market

• Be great with customers with a General Manager mindset - all the way from pitches to activity management in driving business growth.

• Set up a culture around collaboration, experimentation & disruption. Build a high-impact organization by bringing together talent from within and outside Verizon

• Drive product-led growth that delivers top-line revenue + with a platform-centric approach to roadmap & investments such as in Verizon’s ThingSpace platform.

• Operate as a business owner by developing a channel strategy, securing growth-friendly commercials, being present with customer leadership, and secure continued revenue growth

• Orchestrate marketing and operational support to amplify the IoT narrative for Verizon at vertical industry events.

• Converge VBG platform strategies, grow ThingSpace adoption and establish global leadership

• Collaborate with Technology Solutions, Engineering, IT,, Marketing, customer support, and Sales organizations on a detailed level to drive product delivery. This position does not have engineering in reporting structure

• Hold leaders & organization accountable and monitor key performance metrics related to product portfolio, taking corrective actions as needed to meet targets

• Streamline operational processes within the product development lifecycle, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a minimum of 6-8+ years in Product Management leadership of Wireless products and platforms with hands-on experience in the operational aspects of connectivity-related network or SaaS products

• Proven track record of leading teams in the operational delivery of successful products, and achieving customer success.

• Demonstrated record of delivering and growing products to early maturity through activity management

• Deep understanding of IoT-related networks and SaaS products, ensuring a holistic approach to product development

• Demonstrated ability to translate market and customer insights into operational plans that drive successful product outcomes

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution across departments

• Experience in identifying and mitigating risks associated with product development and delivery

• Track record of establishing and achieving key performance metrics for product portfolios

• Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowering and developing a high-performing product management team

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment

• First-hand experience with Lean and Agile development processes, with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency

• Willingness to travel as required for the role

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
