We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director to lead our Digital Workplace Strategy team. This individual will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of enterprise technologies and a passion for leveraging innovation to optimize performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and proven ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of digital workplace senior engineers.
Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Conducting performance evaluations and identifying training and development opportunities.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive digital workplace strategy aligned with organizational goals and IT infrastructure roadmap.
Researching and recommending emerging technologies and solutions to enhance user experience, performance and efficiency.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Windows OS, MAC OS, Cloud solutions, Identity and Authentication principles, VDI and Mobile platforms.
Presenting solutions to complex, large-scale networks and systems to all stakeholders.
Designing and Implementing security protocols and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Partnering effectively with IT infrastructure teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
Communicating technical information and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience in managing and administering enterprise-level technical environments.
Experience in architecture and design of Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Identity and access management, and VDI platforms
Experience with server virtualization and desktop virtualization technologies and concepts.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and application solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
High-level understanding of security principles such as Zero Trust, Secure Private Access, Mobile platforms, Mobile Device Mgmt, Application Packaging and deployment methodologies, and Networking components and principles.
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and orchestration.
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
