In addition to driving workplace strategy, this role will lead a team focused on sustainability and energy infrastructure project implementation, ensuring our workplaces align with our corporate sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will excel in strategic and creative thinking, have a strong ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders, and bring leadership acumen, with potential for future team management responsibilities.

  • Developing and executing workplace strategies to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency across our administrative and infrastructure assets.

  • Building and implementing KPIs and metrics to assess and improve workplace performance, aligning with business objectives.

  • Collaborating closely with other global real estate teams, project teams, and strategic partners, ensuring the successful integration of workplace strategies in design and delivery.

  • Leading the formulation of experience and design strategies, focusing on functionality, brand alignment, and user-centered design.

  • Driving alignment with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, design firms, and cross-functional partners.

  • Acting as a strategic advisor on trends in workplace and experience design, bringing innovative and business-critical insights to the table.

  • Leading and overseeing a team focused on sustainability and energy infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability initiatives.

  • Partnering with internal sustainability teams and external consultants to develop and implement energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and green building strategies across the workplace portfolio.

  • Driving the integration of renewable energy solutions, smart building technologies, and sustainable workplace practices into real estate projects.

  • Establishing and tracking sustainability performance metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making for workplace and energy initiatives.

  • Presenting sustainability and workplace strategy initiatives to senior leadership, making data-backed recommendations for long-term impact.

  • Presenting strategy and vision to senior leadership, utilizing strong storytelling and presentation skills.

This position can be located at any Verizon hub.

What we’re looking for...
