You will report to the Associate Director responsible for Accounting process improvements. The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives through capital projects, robotics process automation or other process improvements. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships across the business units to implement and standardize processes.
Support the design and implementation of standardized and automated processes for the Accounting organization:
Lead cross functional teams in the design, development and implementation of automated solutions.
Implement digital finance tools, including robotics process automation (RPA), natural language generation (NLG), natural language process (NLP), Google Scripting, VBA and others to streamline processes and gain efficiencies.
Perform independent and objective evaluations of accounting processes to identify potential opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Ensure the consistency and completeness of design and execution of automations.
Maintain and modernize existing automations in production, as appropriate.
Support initiatives including follow-up, resolution and closure of open items as well as supporting the Global process owners in identifying and developing continuous improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships across the business units to implement and standardize processes. Communicate effectively with process owners to facilitate the completion and tracking of initiatives.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience developing automated solutions, including analysis and technical documentation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Technology (e.g., VB.Net, SQL Server or Teradata database, Web Services or API, Active Directory, Excel Macro, VBScript).
Experience with Google Suite.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.
Experience with digital finance tools supporting automation like those listed above (RPA, including UiPath application) and other scripting languages (Google Apps Script, VBScript, Excel Macros, Python, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
Accounting close processes experience preferred, including familiarity with SAP.
Experience interfacing with IT, Accounting and various functions, as well as various levels of management.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills; well-developed analytical and interpretive skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of technology or telecommunications industry.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
