Are you a pharmacist looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your advanced-level educational capabilities?
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) has an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to join us on a 12-month fellowship to support the promotion and implementation of RPS core advanced credentialing across the UK. This is a part time position allowing the successful candidate to continue working in their substantive system role for part of the week.

In addition, the postholder will support curriculum-related projects and wider activities of the Assessment & Credentialing team to gain wider educational experience.
The successful candidate will be supported with in-house mentorship to develop their understanding of curriculum and assessment design and effective project support. They will also gain experience and be supported to develop their educational and leadership skills.

The Team
This role sits in the Assessment & Credentialing team. The team’s main purpose is to advance pharmacy practice by defining and assuring post-registration standards of patient-focussed pharmacy practice through curricula, assessments, and credentialing. We are a small but dynamic team made up of educational professionals passionate about improving care through education and professional development. We are looking forward to welcoming a pharmacist who wants to further develop their education and assessment experience.
How we are currently working
RPS supports and works in a hybrid way which means you will be able to work from home. However, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something like two days per month at our London Office for this specific role. This role may also require travel for external stakeholder meetings. Travel expenses for these meetings will be reimbursed, ensuring that you are not out of pocket for necessary travel.
