Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently Manage Departmental Mailboxes: Keep our communication smooth and organised.
  • Provide High-Quality Administrative Support: Assist the team with the day-to-day administrative tasks, prioritising effectively and multitasking where required.
  • Accurate Finance Document Processing: Ensure document accuracy and compliance.
  • Organise and Service Committees: Facilitate effective meetings and committee operations.
  • Accurately Follow Agreed Processes: Follow and update standard operating procedures and maintain accurate data

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Good level of Education including GCSEs in Maths and English.
  • Proven administrative experience in a bustling environment.
  • Expertise in managing complex workflows with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with standard operating procedures.
  • Experience in coordinating and scheduling meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to produce basic reports.

Desirable:

  • Experience in higher education or membership bodies.
  • Knowledge of qualifications, assessments, and examinations.
  • Experience working with assessors and assessment boards.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards and timelines for assessments.

The Directorate

The RPS Professional Membership & Education (PMED) directorate is responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting members and the profession to deliver and continually improve high-quality patient care.
  • Defining and assuring post-registration standards of pharmacy practice through curricula, assessments, and credentialing.
  • Supporting members and the profession to deliver and promote the highest standards of pharmacy practice and professionalism.
  • Advancing pharmacy practice and science by educating the profession to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to meet changing patient needs.

The Team

The assessment and credentialing team is a small but dynamic team within the RPS. We are passionate about advancing pharmacy to promote excellence in patient care across the UK. With a variety of both pharmacists and assessment professionals, we work to define and assure post registration standards in patient focused pharmacy practice through RPS credentialing. The team is growing as we begin to deliver more and more assessments across the UK in collaboration with our education partners.

How we are currently working

RPS supports and works in a hybrid way which means you will be able to work from home. However, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be two days per month at our London Office for this specific role.
