THE GOAL
The aim of the Marketing Manager position is to drive like-for-like performance by leading, developing, and executing UK-specific marketing strategies and campaigns. This includes a strong focus on point-of-sale initiatives, digital communication, and retailer collaboration. The Marketing Manager bridges global strategies with local execution, overseeing the local marketing function, adapting group-driven campaigns to the local market, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
WHO YOU WORK WITH
Reporting to the: Global Head of Marketing
Works with: Local team, primarily UK Country Manager and local heads of departments, UK Retailers, cross country Marketing department and NPD department, marketing and design agencies and freelancers.
WHAT YOU DO
The Marketing Manager bridges global strategies and local execution, overseeing market analysis, campaign planning, and stakeholder communication. They adapt group initiatives to the UK local market, manage budgets, and execute promotions, product launches, and CSR efforts. By providing insights and feedback, they support product development and ensure impactful marketing aligned with business goals.
Define local marketing plans, including market studies, messaging, and local action plans.
Detect and assess market opportunities to align with global and local strategies.
Localise and execute group-driven marketing strategies and campaigns.
Act as the local contact for retailers, maintaining strong relationships and identifying key opportunities for collaboration, managing catalogue updates, price changes, and marketing actions
Collaborate with local Supply Chain, Quality and Ops teams to align campaigns and drive Franchise Partner participation
Organise local promotional activities, including advertising, events, offers, and digital campaigns.
Oversee new product launches and point-of-sale (POS) actions
Forecast sales in coordination with purchasing, regional managers, and retailers.
Measure the effectiveness of local campaigns and provide feedback to global teams.
Provide input to NPD teams for global product development based on local market insights.
Own and manage local marketing budgets effectively

Experienced: Proven background in a similar role, ideally within food & beverage, hospitality, or retail, either in-house or agency.
