Job Description
THE GOAL
The role of the Chef is to manage the production plan to efficiently deliver daily requirements. They are responsible for the production teams output ensuring product quality and food safety standards are consistently met.
Our products are hand crafted in front of our customers and so our Chef must be customer service oriented and passionate about our products and our brand.
WHAT THEY DO
Responsibilities
- Deliver a positive customer experience and build customer brand loyalty
- Manage daily production plan
- Ensure great cooperation and communication with the sales team
- Provide the Sous-Chefs and cooks with training and instruction
- Manage production team schedule
- Stock management and analysis
- Communicate regularly with suppliers
- Optimise work processes, quality and team performance
- Is up to date with company rules, standards and processes
- Great product knowledge and respects the company concept
- Responsible for ensuring all Food safety, quality and hygiene procedures are followed
- Manage customer feedback
- Cost control
Training Responsibilities
- Coordinate training plan for trainees (Managers, Kelly Deli team etc)
- Follows Academy training processes
- Completes all relevant training documents
- Deliver training to trainees
- Evaluate capability of trainees and provide feedback
