General Accountant

Job Description

This role primarily manages the day-to-day accounting of the French entity, working closely with the team of KellyDeli France (Country Manager, Operations, Marketing, Development etc). A team player with fantastic communication skills.

The accountant supports the local finance team in the day-to-day accounting, administration, and workflows specific to ERP projects. Reporting to the Head of Accounting Central Europe, you will communicate with other teams and departments of our European business to carry out finance-related activities such as monthly closing, budget preparation and review (mid-year), assistance with auditors, banks and tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Close:

Checking the completeness of the data encoded on a monthly basis

Report the closing file within the given deadlines

VAT:

Preparation of the VAT return, assistance to the Head of Accounting in the preparation of the Tax return

Audit work:

Assists Head of Accounting in annual audit work with auditors:

Reconciliation of customers, suppliers, general ledger, banks Aging Balance

Encoding and publication of annual accounts in accordance with local French accounting standards

Budget:

Assists in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, their monitoring and review during the year

Miscellaneous operations:

Encoding of various operations (salaries, depreciation, reclassification, miscellaneous, etc.). Also supporting the Head of Accounting Europe Centrale in managing the accounting for the other entities which include Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
