POSITION: Software Quality Engineer 2

LOCATION: 1 W Elm Street, Suite 200, Conshohocken, PA 19428

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software according to Agile methodologies. Work with product management, software developers, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas. Guide and participate in design, development testing, and deployment of Boomi Integration products and services including enhancements and resolution of reported issues. Investigate and resolve complex customer issues. Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria, be a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories to surface edge cases and improve outcomes. Understand the Integration landscape and customer challenges in order to recommend new features and validate existing ones. Contribute to manual and automated testing suite to ensure future software stability. Collaborate to realize features through the software development lifecycle. 100% Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Requires demonstrated experience with: Web application testing using Selenium WebDriver; working with Java, source control systems (Bitbucket) and continuous integration tools (Bamboo and Jenkins); Agile collaboration tool (JIRA); Web Services technologies and testing frameworks (Selenium and Rest Assured); using Linux/Unix environments; highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems; using AWS technologies (Cloudformation, S3, ECS, EKS, or EC2); SQL, relational database systems (MySQL), and ORM tools; caching capabilities; APM tools; performance testing using Jmeter; using Docker as container method to establish tunnels; and monitoring transactions and tracking of statistics using New Relic.
