As the Senior Finance Programs & Operations Lead at Boomi, you will be tasked with supporting the finance function by building and executing on our strategic roadmap to enhance our finance operations. You will program manage larger projects or programs through completion, finding ways to enhance our delivery model, setting clear standards, governance and controls, while meeting business requirements on time and on budget. You will act as a change agent and a driver for continuous improvement in the organization focused on process improvement and system optimization. What you'll do:

  • Responsible for building and maintaining streamlined portfolio and program level processes & tools that provides proper governance over all finance initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain our portfolio and methodology for how we manage project intake, demand management, prioritization, capacity planning and execution.
  • Ensure portfolio strategic alignment with overall business and finance vision and priorities.
  • Establish project management best practices and controls that allow us to have a repeatable process that is transparent and predictable.
  • Develop live program/project dashboards for progress monitoring and proactive management
  • Manage our finance portfolio and progress reporting to key stakeholders at a portfolio or program level
  • Program manage larger strategic programs - lead the planning, execution, and delivery of finance systems implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with process owners, cross-functional groups and SMEs to find opportunities for process improvements or system enhancements.
  • Regularly assess and optimize finance systems and processes by analyzing and interpreting data and operational KPI’s
  • Supports finance leadership team with operational communication and change management efforts that drive adoption
  • Lead and contribute to innovative solutions leveraging automation technologies Boomi integration solutions as well as new emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate finance leadership meetings and offsites, setting agendas, ensuring follow-up on action items, and fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation
  • Be an agent of change and continuous improvement in our finance organization.

The Experience you bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in program and change management supporting a finance function through finance transformation, process improvements or system implementations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Project management or a related field.
  • Finance Systems Knowledge: Solid understanding of multiple finance systems with a proven ability to apply this knowledge effectively
  • Program Management Knowledge: Solid understanding of Program Management concepts and best practices
  • Project Management: Capable of leading projects, ensuring alignment, timely delivery, desired outcomes and on budget
  • Change Management has hands-on experience with assessing change impact, defining and executing change strategy
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing, influencing and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapting to new challenges with ease; Eagerness to understand business and contribute effectively towards decision support
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills
  • Dependability: Strong sense of urgency and results orientation, with a commitment to meeting goals and driving business value

  • Software technology or SaaS industry experience
  • Experience with Monday.com, Netsuite

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $120,000 - $160,000 annually + applicable bonus.
