Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Development Representative Intern to join our dynamic sales team. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales development and learn essential skills in lead generation, customer relationship management, and market analysis.

Expected Internship Dates: May 28, 2025 to August 15, 2025

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and prospecting potential customers through research and outreach strategies, including cold calling and email campaigns.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce Boomi’s solutions and set up initial meetings for the sales team.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to gather information on industry trends, target accounts, and potential leads to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Development Reps and the marketing team to align outreach efforts and effectively communicate Boomi’s value proposition.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate information on leads, activities, and customer interactions.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing sales reports and dashboards to track outreach efforts, lead progress, and overall sales metrics.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in team meetings and training sessions to gain insights into sales strategies, tools, and best practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen interest in customer engagement.
  • Basic understanding of sales concepts and techniques is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A proactive and motivated approach with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate of pay will range from CAD $17.40 - CAD $25 / Hour. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
