Boomi is seeking a talented, results-driven, pragmatic attorney to join our EMEA in-house legal team.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal support for sales transactions, ensuring contracts align with business goals while mitigating risks. As part of our legal team, your expertise will drive our business forward and you'll play a key role in shaping and implementing legal strategies to address the challenges of our evolving business landscape.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your legal expertise in a collaborative environment, facilitating and driving growth in the EMEA region. Please note this role is to be based in Barcelona as you will work a Hybrid model, attending our vibrant Barcelona office 2 days per week, and working from home 3 days per week.
What You’ll Do:

Sales Support: Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, sales contracts, including privacy agreements, channel partner agreements, and other commercial documents.

Intelligent and Efficient Approach: Apply an “intelligent and efficient” mindset to contract negotiations, balancing risk management with business effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement: Be an integral part of the build out of Boomi’s commercial legal infrastructure in EMEA, enabling us to scale and operate efficiently at pace with Boomi’s growth - this work includes leading and contributing to projects that will improve operational efficiencies.

Adaptability: Embrace new tasks and responsibilities as the business evolves.

Ownership & Accountability: Take pride in your work, ensure follow-through, and contribute to the success of our legal team.

Team Collaboration: Partner effectively with members of the legal team, as well as external stakeholders, including revenue recognition, security, sales operations, and technology operations to ensure agreements are consistent with internal policy, while demonstrating care for teammates' well-being and success.

Key Business Stakeholder: Work directly with key business stakeholders as a strategic adviser and tactical influencer to provide business-minded legal advice and guidance on a broad range of complex legal, business, and strategic issues as they arise.
The Experience You Bring:

Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and certification to practice law.

Experience: 3 - 6 years of experience in commercial transactions, either at a law firm or in-house legal environment.

Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, problem solving and contract drafting abilities.

Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with customers and sales teams, and influence decision-makers to achieve optimal outcomes.

Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to identify issues, evaluate risks, and make informed decisions.

Business Centric Mindset.

English as a working language.
Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience negotiating software licenses.

Experience in house at a high-growth company.

Working knowledge of Data Privacy Laws.
