The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.
VIE Main Requirements:
- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

A VIE within our department "Service Delivery" has arisen within Airbus Secure Land Communications GmbH in Sulzbach (Taunus) near to Frankfurt am Main.
Sulzbach (Taunus) is about 15km away from Frankfurt am Main and is an up-and-coming community with a wide range of leisure and cultural offerings. Here you can enjoy the quality of life in the countryside, while the nearby big cities are still easy to reach.
The contract duration of VIE is 12 months with starting date from February/March 2025.

Tasks & accountabilities:
Your main task will include:
- Supporting the Head of Service Delivery, IT Operations & Service Desk
- Support in developing know-how in the 1st level service desk and 2nd level support of new services
- Design of the processes for these new services
- Support in coordinating the implementation and documentation of ITIL – processes
- Technical support in the 1st and 2nd level service delivery departments
Required Skills:
- Graduated in Information Technology or Engineering or a comparable field of study.
- General knowledge in IT infrastructure and tools
- First experience with IT processes or capacity to quickly learn will be highly appreciated
- IT process know-how (preferably first experience with ITIL)
In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:
- Service oriented attitude
- You’re an open-minded teamplayer with a proactive personality that helps you to drive change, solve problems and convince others
- You are able to easily negotiate in English, an advanced level in German is a plus
