Job Description:
Provide daily updates to Operations Manager with the status of work performed on aircraft
and availability.
Coordinate with the Operation Manager movements of manpower, parts and tools to off-site
work locations or other maintenance bases.
Responsible to plan, organize, lead, and control of the base operation and management of
staffing.
Responsible to collaborate and coordinate with other departments.
Manage hangar operations and teams by providing strong leadership and effective
communication to ensure work tasks are completed duly.
Responsible as the base local procurement representative, signing and approve PR/PO prior to
next level approval.
Ensure all Aircraft Equipment/Tooling are maintained IAW relevant Maintenance program.
Ensure the efficient use of staffing through establishing/distributing proper work assignments, efficient pre-shift preparation, and ensuring that each individual is engaged in assisting others after completion of their assigned tasks.
Ensure enough overlap between shifts to proper written communication on liaison book
Ensure that all work tasks are completed timely and to airworthiness standards maintain an orderly and organized working area.
Promote a positive and safety culture at workplace.
Ensures compliance with company related policies, procedures, SOP’s and that the company continues to meet high quality standards.
Recognize Airbus contractual obligations to avoid penalties
Respect national labor law in force
Supervise the Management of TDME (Tools, Diagnostics & Measuring Equipment), GSE (Including tow truck, hydraulic mill, battery cart, compressor wash kit, etc.) and Life Support Equipment (Including life vest, life raft, air bottles, etc.)
May perform other related duties as assigned.
Ensure staff protection and daily usage of PPE.
Ensure OJT for all new trainees are followed & maintained.
Ensure all MRO staff are trained and attended refresher courses.
Identify training opportunities and future leaders, mentoring and developing the capabilities of the team.
