About Opto-Mechatronics Engineer (m/f/d)
The Large-Scale Vision Inspection Team in Ottobrunn, develops solutions for automated quality inspection of aircraft components during manufacturing. Our multidisciplinary team groups different competence fields from software, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Our challenge is to generalize sensor solutions, especially machine vision systems, for highly variable component geometries, surface qualities and materials.
Your Tasks
Optimize optical path based on material optical properties
Design and optimize inspection end-effector components (light, camera, embedded controllers)
Design and optimize interface between inspection end-effectors and robots
Test inspection end-effector components (MTF, DoF, etc.) static and dynamic
What we look for
Studies in the field of optics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
Practical experience with Zemax, Catia V5 or comparable CAD systems (SolidWorks)
Outstanding skills in test data acquisition, processing, analysis and reporting
Practical experience in the field of composites or sensor technology an advantage
High sense of responsibility
Fluency in English and/or German
Outstanding team capability, communication, documentation, and presentation abilities
Solution-oriented thinking and willingness to be part of new projects that push the state of the art.
