Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Temporary Sr. Accounts Receivable Administrator (Contract) to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX.

Note: The duration for this role is forecasted to last between 90 - 120 days

The Temporary Sr. Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for establishing, maintaining and monitoring customer accounts for credit and collection functions.

Our teams provide key analytics – from month-end closing to performance management analysis for our partners. Your working environment:

A suburb just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is home to Airbus Helicopters U.S. regional headquarters, where we have more than 1,000 employees. Your challenges:

Customer Account Management: 65%

  • Set up new customer accounts.
  • Vetting these potential accounts for creditworthiness and AML compliance
  • Maintain existing customer accounts within SAP.
  • Monitor and enforce customer credit limits.
  • Determine if orders can be released for customers nearing/exceeding their credit limit. Active collection against open account balances.
  • Work with customers to resolve invoice/account disputes.

Reporting and Support (Commercial): 15%

  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for specific customers within Excel.
  • Process, print, mail/e-mail monthly statements for all customers monthly and as requested by customers.
  • Daily submission of new invoices to customer via email/mail.
  • Negotiate payout of delinquent accounts with customers.

Report and Support (Military): 15%

  • Preparation of monthly reconciliations for LUH and AHI affiliates.
  • Distribute affiliate reconciliations to the parent company and appropriate affiliate partner.
  • Distribute LUH reconciliations to Airbus Defense & Space and AHI in Mississippi.

Fiscal Reporting: 5%

  • Provide annual reports/support to auditors
  • Provide quarterly input/reporting for Allowance for Doubtful Accounts (Reserve)

Your boarding pass:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum four (4) years accounting or collections related fields
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • SAP , Excel, Word, Outlook, Google suite

Preferred:

  • Some college training in Business Administration
  • Intensive knowledge in credit and collection fields
  • Accounts Receivable system (SAP AR))

This position is a temporary (contract) position forecasted to last between 90-120 days, but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus in America.

  • Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily
  • Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily
  • Equipment Operation: able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs.
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs.
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Occasionally
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Daily
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Occasionally
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Daily
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Frequently
  • Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Occasionally
  • PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits; appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
