IM within Airbus is a Transnational Organization mirroring the Industrial landscape. IM is currently undergoing a major Digital Transformation program focusing on Product and Technology Service teams with an end-to-end (E2E) accountability and full responsibility for the value proposition.
We are looking for an Integration expert who is the Business Interface to the IM Business teams in Europe. You act as a bridge and as a strategic interface with ERP Platform and Strategy to translate the needs into IT requirements and proactively identify opportunities of business transformation or improvement enabled by technology.
On top, you act as Developer.
For both activities, you will have a strong collaboration (reusing, consolidating & driving convergence) with the Product & Service Lines.

As an Integration Specialist & API Developer, you will bridge the gap between various applications and systems, crafting seamless connectivity that powers our award-winning e-commerce platform and beyond. You will design, develop, and maintain APIs, ensuring robust integration with platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud, Freshdesk, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). Your work will enable us to deliver exceptional digital customer service, enhance our e-commerce capabilities, and drive forward our digital strategy.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate with relevant experience of 4 to 6 years in SAP BTP IS /APIM
Able to work in a fast-paced Agile development environment with Excellent software development skills in Java, Rest, SOAP and ODATA based web services.
Good knowledge in coding languages like JAVA to be able to create mapping and call APIs.
Good communication skills to have efficient interaction with business users.
Experience in configuring and analyzing all the PI standard adapters including HTTP, STFP, REST, Proxy, RFC, IDOC, JDBC, SOAP, File, Mail, Web Services, JMS, JDBC etc and use of certificate based authentication.
Working experience with Solution Manager and CHARM based transport management.
Strong knowledge in EDI capabilities (B2B addons) while integrating with Third party partners
Knowledge of transport managements like CTS and CTS+
Knowledge on ECC configurations related to ALE, Proxy and Queues.
Experience on security standard technologies like SAML, OAUTH, OpenID Connect
Proficient hands-on experience in implementing A2A and B2B solutions
Completion of a minimum of 2 full project lifecycle implementations and roll outs International project experience and collaborating with off-shore teams Experience with waterfall/agile project methodology
Experience working with Object Oriented Programming, developing classes from scratch with an excellent understanding of inheritance and extending methods.
Design, develop, and maintain APIs on platforms like SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
Integrate diverse applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define requirements and specifications for APIs and integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, enhancing the performance and functionality of our digital services.
Stay up-to-date with the latest in API development standards, authentication protocols, and integration technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proficiency in API and integration design, with experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) preferred.
Solid understanding of RESTful API development, API management platforms, and strategies.
Experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other authentication/authorization protocols.
Strong knowledge of data flow principles, e-commerce, and digital customer service systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skill.
Travel: The position requires 10-15 travel days per year, offering the chance to connect with team members and stakeholders across the organization.
