Technical skills

  • 10+ years of IT development and implementation/consulting experience that demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP applications and infrastructures including server technology.

  • Deep knowledge in network and security standards and solutions applicable to SAP infrastructures and applications either on premise or cloud

  • Experience and deep knowledge of SAP systems (for example SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.

  • Deep expertise of SAP HANA DB and SAP NetWeaver architecture and their operation, including backup, archiving, performance analysis

  • Good knowledge of the SAP integration solutions (SLT, SAP PO, ALE-IDOCs, SAP Integration Suite …)

  • Knowledge of SAP HANA Database and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

  • Knowledge of SAP ABAP and ABAP restful development.

  • Knowledge of UI5 and Fiori App design and development.

  • Experience about common issues to proactively analyse the system in order to find potential weaknesses and vulnerabilities before failures.

  • Experience to work with OSS (Incidents, SAP Notes implementation, Standard modification).

Soft skills

  • A confident and natural communicator with the ability to help a wide range of stakeholders understand the business value of key Architecture decisions through concise and effective communications.

  • Promoter of close alignment between business and IT by helping to translate architecture issues for business leaders and managers with varying levels of technology savvy.

  • An authoritative communicator with a history of running Architecture governance bodies that lift the quality and throughput of tech deliverables.

  • Confidence to deal with vendors of all sizes being able to determine business value from those engagements.

  • Possess a bias for action and a fundamental commitment to quality in delivering services to support customer needs

Nice to have

  • Experience in S/4 HANA migration or implementation project

  • Devops concepts (github,jenkins,..) and its CI/CD solutions (BAS)

  • TOGAF or COBIT certification

  • SAP Certification in at-least one of the relevant modules in S4/HANA

  • Good Knowledge of Airbus CA Enterprise Architecture patterns and standards

Responsibilities:

  • Advises and supports projects in architecture and technical integration choices on applications within the SAP scope

  • Define and promote technical, network and security standards within the scope of SAP solutions whether on premise or in the cloud

  • Ensures constant monitoring with suppliers and the SAP editor on SAP technical solutions to improve security, performance, migrations and costs

  • Contributes to the integration of standards required for SAP infrastructure into Airbus architecture standards

  • Lead of cross-functional infrastructure improvement projects (archiving, migrations, security, etc.)
