Job Description: We are now looking for a Supplier Officer to join our team at Airbus Portugal GBS.

Responsibilities - your mission

Airbus has built on its strong European heritage to become truly international with roughly 180 locations and 12,000 direct suppliers globally. The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe and the Americas, and has achieved a more than sixfold order book increase since 2000.

Position Summary: The Supply Officer secures the fulfillment of FAL, Pre-FAL and integrators needs of components to avoid production planning disturbances, providing prompt updates on the deliveries status to the internal stakeholders, following the Equipment Procurement Operations’ Supply Management procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Forecasting activities

• Placement and/or follow up of purchase orders communications with suppliers and internal stakeholders (supply chain quality, engineering, version managers, buyers, CFIs, logistic coordinators, program representatives, warehouse operators)

• Support NPI introduction with MFT / support operational action(QSR, retrofit plan,...)

• Manage and monitor the rework PO with the supplier

• Manage the strategic buffer to maintain the right level of coverage to protect plants

• Raise Practical Problem Solving on recurrent issue

• Attendance to performance review meetings and dedicated meetings with suppliers

• Attendance to internal team meetings

• Reporting activities (& associated data analysis) • inventory management activities

• Use of Airbus ERP System (SAP PDA/PGI/PEA)

• Maintain the Master Data up to date

• Use of other specific tools (...)

Additional Responsibilities:

• Contribution to improvement projects

• Attendance to missing parts meetings

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

• Past experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Procurement, including Process management aspect

• Communication and Change management skills

• Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to priorities in case of emergencies

• Digital background

• Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement

• A degree in Supply Chain or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Fluency in English sufficient to fully engage in negotiations and team meetings

• French would be really appreciated

• Enjoy a dynamic and multicultural environment with a lot of different tools and flows of material

• Able to travel domestically and internationally when needed

• Shows a lot of rigor and concentration at work.
