The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Reduced Emission Aircraft development and responsible for the fuel cell stack development and production for Airbus Programmes.


In order to support the Finance & Administration Team in Taufkirchen, a temporary vacancy for a Supply Logistics Officer (d/f/m) has arisen at Aerostack GmbH.

As Supply Logistics Officer you will act as key contact for managing logistics and administrational aspects for all purchased products of our entity. You will support purchasing
processes with our supply chain with a focus on coordinating logistics, tran sport and import /export / customs related transactions. Your structured and open-minded approach will contribute to building an effective purchasing team in a fast-paced environment.

The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of Finance and Administration.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

  • Manage purchase requests and raise associated orders with focus on logistics and

  • transport related topics

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery in line with company needs

  • Coordinate all import/export and customs related aspects for inbound &amp; outbound

  • shipments including cost control &amp; related invoice management

  • Maintain updated records of transport transactions and delivery information

  • Prepare reports on purchase cost and contribute to cost reduction ideas

  • Coordinate goods receipts/shipments with warehouse staff

  • Support in monitoring of material stock levels and initiate order placement as needed

  • Contribute to setting up an effective inventory and asset management

  • Support to improving operational supply chain and logistic process landscape

Required Skills:

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following competences and skills:

  • Degree in Business School, Industrial Business Management or equivalent experience

  • Proven work experience as a Supply Officer with experience in international trade & logistics processes or similar role

  • Sound knowledge of import / export and customs process

  • Good knowledge of supply chain procedures and supply chain stakeholder Management

  • Tools: experience with purchasing software (e.g. SAP), Google Suite, MS Office tools

  • Good negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to work self-organized, but in close alignment with internal and external interfaces

  • Proactive attitude, organized and structured, team spirit

  • Business fluent German as well as fluent English language skills
