Job Description:

An opportunity for a Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

Job will be mainly focussed on supporting the aircraft design as part of the engineering team responsible of Dynamic Loads
(Gust/Turbulence, Dynamic Landing, Taxiing, etc.), Static and Dynamic Aeroelasticity, and Impact Loads (bird, ice, etc.). All these aspects are
covered by calculations and/or ground/flight tests.
Besides this, the job will also consider other aspects as:
• Contribute to the optimization of the global design of Airbus products during the concept phases.
• Supply high quality input data to the teams responsible for component design in Time Cost Quality (TCQ).
• Development of leading competences in the areas of Loads & Aeroelastic along with the required methods and tools.
• Support product certification and the evolution of requirements in that area.
• Promote continuous process improvements, participating in new technologies (R&T).

SKILLS

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Aeronautical Master Degree is requires

  • Knowledge in Aeroelasticity

  • Advanced level in English.

  • Nastran/Patran
