Simulation Software Development Engineer (m/f)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Software Development Engineer (f/m) to join our Modelling & Simulation Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing the Aircraft Systems Simulation Integration & Runtime Environments . As part of the Simulation Frameworks team , you will be involved in the development of ambitious software products aiming at optimizing the Avionics Systems Simulation for our current and future Aircraft generations.

Your challenges:

• Capture and understand the users’ needs in order to design reliable, competitive, innovative and sustainable solutions.
  
• Develop Integration and Runtime software Environments for our current and future Simulation Products, based on software technologies ranging from state of the art to the most advanced.
  
• Maintain and continually increase our added values and our knowledge of Simulation Environments.
  
• Identify operational and technological trends likely to further improve our simulation means, and evaluate them to demonstrate their potential.
  

Your boarding pass:

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience with a 5-year degree of software Engineering
  
• You have technical experience in software development with coding languages such as C/C++ and/or Rust and/or Python and/or Java and/or Javascript/Typescript and/or REACT.
  
• You are familiar with software DevOps such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Bash, ...
  

• You are curious, you like technical challenges, you want to learn and evolve within a dynamic team.
  
• You are able to take a step back and carry out quick analyses, for example to roughly estimate the workload of product developments or future new developments.
  
• Fluent in English and French
  

This position requires being eligible to security, Export Control and Military clearances by the recognized authorities.
