Responsibilities - your mission

Quality is one of the core pillars of the company compliance and performance, and spreads in all company daily operations. Quality strongly contributes to Airbus key success factors: Product Safety, Customer Satisfaction and Flow Efficiency. The Quality M&T department aims to develop and maintain all the digital landscape and applications portfolio of Quality domain, together with the Information Management (IM) department.

In that context, You will be part of the One of the Quality product and you will drive the development phases with our Information Management partners and the product team.

The Quality Products are:

  • Standard, Audit and Preventing

  • Inspection

  • Nonconformity

  • Data management and governance

Our Team main missions are the following

  • Support the design and implementation of the Digital strategy for your product

  • Responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs. Activities will be related to transformation, Business continuity, change management & run mode.

  • Establish solid relationships with Information Management and business stakeholders (internal customers, process owners, …)

  • Setting up MFT able to steer and manage the product portfolio

Your Impact

You will be responsible to analyze and optimize the operational support of digital solutions within the Quality. By overseeing the complete scope of applications in your portfolio you will drive improvements, and trigger Support and Agile teams to implement improvements.

As a Service manager, You will part of Product team with the following accountabilities

  • Managing global flow of business issues and support needs.

  • Analyzing the flow of business requests, driving comprehensive outcomes and improvements plans to optimize support activities.

  • Monitor the volumes of tickets and the quality of resolution in accordance with contracts.

  • Connect and interface with suppliers operating business support.

  • Prioritize applications development needs and coordinate it with agile teams.

  • Raise knowledge on Quality applications to build Airbus Portugal expertise, preparing business growth to Product Owner roles.

  • Capitalize business feedback for higher Product Team performance.

  • Participate in the overall product strategy

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

  • The jobholder has minimum 4 years experience or more depending on the complexity of the product, preferably in Digitization projects with Industrial process background focused on industrial Quality

  • The jobholder has strong relationship and change management skills. He/she knows how to properly communicate, influence and convince. He demonstrates personal agility and with others as well.

  • Graduated as an engineer master degree, including at least one of matters: Information Management Systems or Data management, Industrial & Quality management System.

  • English: negotiation

  • Capability of earning trust and influencing stakeholders with excellent communication skills.

  • Curious, Autonomous and well organized

  • Experience in working with agile methods like scrum and kanban is a key asset.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Airbus Product lifecycle & Operations/Quality set-up in Plant/FAL is a key asset.
