The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Reduced Emission Aircraft development and responsible for the fuel cell stack development and production for Airbus Programmes.


In order to support the Finance & Administration Team in Taufkirchen, a temporary vacancy for a “Purchasing Support (d/f/m)” has arisen at Aerostack GmbH.
As Purchasing Support you will act as key contact for processing daily purchasing demands of our entity. You will manage orders for a wide spectrum of products, ranging from drawing parts, standard material, production &amp; test equipment, to tooling and related services. Your structured and open-minded approach will contribute to building an effective purchasing team
in a fast-paced and growing team environment.
The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of Finance and Administration.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers

  • Manage purchase requests, raise associated order documentation and support day-to-day administration of all purchasing transactions

  • Drive compliance of Supplier orders to expected terms &amp; conditions

  • Prepare and support negotiations of contract terms and prices with suppliers within defined responsibilities

  • Efficiently communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders

  • Work with all functions in accordance with our internal processes to ensure compliant ordering

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery

  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

  • Prepare reports on purchase cost and support cost reduction ideas

  • Proactively manage supply chain risks and deviations

  • Contribute to research of supply chain for identified product groups

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Economics or equivalent and/ or proven experience in a relevant field

  • First work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or a similar role in early career

  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices, supply chain procedures and supply chain stakeholder management

  • Tools: experience with purchasing software (e.g. SAP), Google Suite, MS Office tools

  • Effective negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously with genuine attention to detail

  • Proactive attitude, organized and structured, team spirit

  • Business fluent English as well as fluent German language skills, other languages beneficial
