A vacancy for an C295 Instructor Pilot has arisen within Airbus International Services in Sevilla, Spain.
The candidates must have NATO Restricted Clearance and right to live and work in Spain.
The applicant must be comfortable with Teamwork and be ready for extended periods of work away from the home.
The successful applicant will join the Flight Test Department.
Task & accountabilities:
- C295 Instructor Pilot (TRI) and C295 Simulator Instructor (SFI)
- C295 non-test flight in Airbus Flight Operations (Production ferry, est.), including preparation, execution and reporting.
- Support as C295 Operational and Instructor Pilot in Test Centre to other internal organizations
- Participate in Airbus Derivatives Training activities (in-flight and simulator)
- Support Chief Engineer Office and Programs in Designing and Developing aircraft & systems
- Support Commercial activities as required
- Support C295 Technical Publications department, in charge of Technical and Operational documentation
Skills:
- Demonstrated Flight and Instructor experience in Military Types: More than 2500 flight hours (required), with at least 1000 flight hours in training roles (aircraft and simulator).
- Specific experience in C295 tactical operations (Unpaved runway operations, Aerial delivery -cargo & personnel-, NVG, Formations, AAR as receiver)
Skills that will also be Valued:
- Any Valid Airbus TR other than C295 (present or past)
- Any previous experience in Military Transports and/or AAR
Qualifications:
- EASA CPL/ATPL (A),
- ME, IR & MCC
- EASA CLASS 1 MEDICAL
- English advanced (ICAO Level 4 or above).
- NATO RESTRICTED Security Clearance and SP National Clearance
- Engineering degree or Masters will also be valued
