Roles and Responsibilities overview :

The FSTD logistics coordinator is the focal point for all the Flight simulator training devices (FSTD) logistics support related activities. He /She :

  • Should have good experience in handling logistic operations & store management of hardware parts ; Experience with simulators/training devices is a plus

  • Should have completed DG (dangerous goods) training and authorized to sign DG/NON DG certificate

  • Should be able to autonomously support logistics operations by understanding the team’s requirements

  • Be informed about the logistics flow; shipment & payment terms especially on custom payments

  • Coordinate with the registered logistics vendors for the export & import operations o Monitor the Export control requirements for all the shipments coming in/ going out from the center

  • Be responsible for the inventory store upkeep at the center

  • This role requires to be actively interacting with the FSTD maintenance team, logistic vendors, procurement function at the center and finance:

  • Contribute and optimize the existing logistic process at the center

  • Manage logistics data using the tools available within the team

  • Coordinate with the operational team to understand the requirements and for the efficient upkeep of the inventory
