About us:
We are recruiting for a 12.5 month internship within the Human Resource business facing team based on the Airbus site in Filton. This internship offers you great exposure to a diverse HR role, and an opportunity to gain an understanding of our business.
Our team is made up of HR Business Partners, HR Advisors and Employee Relations Specialists all of whom work closely with the business at Filton site but also other locations such as Broughton, London and Brize Norton. Due to the diversity of activity across the site, the team supports a variety of different functions and also works transnationally across the wider Airbus company.
We are a very supportive team and have an open environment for asking questions and sharing with each other. We also believe in having fun and taking time out of our everyday roles to connect and take a break!
What you will be doing:
You will support our HR team in Filton with the opportunity to work with several HR Business Partners across different parts of our business, as well as getting involved in transversal projects.
The HR Business Partners are the primary HR interface with the business, supporting managers in their managerial roles and ensuring that HR policies are applied and that HR processes are implemented in the business following local legislation and the Airbus HR strategy.
You will report to one of the HR professionals in our team and work in cooperation with the entire team. You will also work with a variety of line managers and HR Centres of Competence.

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include:
Support HRBP community on their daily operational activities;
Hold exit interviews, collating feedback as part of the retention project;
Analysis in areas like absenteeism, salary reviews and grading;
Consolidating People Review packs;
Support organization of get to knows between senior leaders and talents;
Take part in case management of employee relation cases ;
Support HRBPs throughout the annual HR calendar of activities, including the Performance and Goals cycle.
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
Study towards a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, any other degree with a strong focus on Human Resources Management, or equivalent;
Good communication skills and able to relate with different stakeholders;
Be proactive and take initiative;
Organisational skills and attention to details;
Be mindful of confidentiality and ability to deal with sensitive information.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
