Job Objectives

The Documentation and Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) management project leader position is part of the Documentation and EFB Management Services team. The staff will work together with the Flight Operations Documentation and EFB Project Leaders to customize and deliver the flight operations documents (FCOM, MEL, QRH/eQRH, CCOM, WBM, AFM, etc.), aircraft simulation documents and EFB loads to fit the customers’ requirements. The deliverables (mainly on the flight operations documents & EFB and related support) are provided worldwide to the customers for all aircraft programs.

Responsibilities

This position will be mainly responsible for the operational duties on the flight operations documentation and EFB management services activities to include, but not limited to:

  • Assess and advise the customers’ current process of the flight operations manuals management (Company manuals, aircraft simulation manuals, FCOM, MEL, QRH/eQRH, CCOM, WBM, AFM, etc.)

  • Coordinate with customers’ needs and manage the customized flight operations documentation with multiple output formats available (PDF, Ops Library Browser (OLB), eQRH, FlySmart+ and others in EFB format)

  • Provide aircraft fleet management, aircraft Service Bulletin (SB) integration and XML expertise for customers’ flight operations manuals

  • Provide engineering expertise to customize the flight operations manuals, and to support the customers in front of the authority

  • Deliver, update and customize the flight operations documentation management for aircraft simulators in digital format for training purposes

  • Coordinate and support the Flight Operations Documentation/EFB Project Manager to complete the projects on time within budget and within scope

Professional Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Aeronautical or appropriate field with equivalent work experience or a related field.

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in aircraft system and/or flight operations documentations/manuals and EFB management

  • Good knowledge with skills and experience on the XML authoring tool (ADOC, FODM, DocManager, etc.)

  • Excellent computer literacy skills.

  • Advanced level of English communication skills and interpersonal skills to work well in the international and multicultural work environment

  • Good ability to handle and complete the different tasks within the same timeframe with multiple deadlines

  • Good ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities

  • Good ability to organize, manage and plan the production delivery on hand with teams

  • Be detail-oriented with self-validation mindset

  • Be team-orientated and willing to participate in collaborative environment

  • Fast learner with good ability to learn new things

  • Be able to work autonomously and without supervision

  • Deliver, update and customize the Flysmart+ setting and manage the performance module, load and trim sheet module, etc.

  • Deliver, update and ensure the updated information is distributed in every AIRAC cycle

  • Measure and improve on the project performance, efficiency and quality

  • Create and maintain comprehensive checklists, guidelines and referenced books for documentation and EFB management

  • Perform other related duties as assigned
