The Finance NextGen Programme is an Airbus Defence & Space-wide development programme.
This programme is designed to identify and develop talented Leaders for the Airbus Finance Community who will contribute significantly towards achieving our business goals. The Finance NextGen Programme - sponsored by Airbus Defence & Space' CFO - enables its participants to enhance financial know-how and expertise, combined with further learning in management and leadership competencies.
The mission of the programme:
Fostering and deepening participants’ financial knowledge and expertise on the Airbus world of Finance, enlarging the scope to the international financial context
Linking formal learning with rotating, real-business project assignments
Increasing participants’ project management and leadership competencies
Encouraging networking, job shadowing, mobility and cross-cultural experiences
Mentorship from a member of the Finance Top Management
This Program consists of two assignments in two different countries. Each assignment lasts for a period of two years. They are combined with off-the-job modules, designed to strengthen participant’s management and financial competencies.
For the first assignment this position can be based in Madrid, Toulouse or Munich. Here is the job description and required skills for the first two years:
Description of this specific job:
You will perform a complete set of finance activities:
Support the Business Partner for Getafe A400M MRO&Retro Plant stakeholders in Operations.
Team working to coordinate with the MRO&Retro A400M Plants controllers and contribute to consolidation.
Management of a matrix organization with transnational teams working for MRO&Retro A400M and locally.
Support Integration and coordination of controlling activities (planning, reporting, controlling) at Production level following a standard and agile process to increase the operational synergies and support its competitiveness.
Assure a quality reporting on the aircrafts cost for Getafe Plant
Contribute to Transformation projects in order to find synergies and efficiency that generate savings or mitigate risks, improving costs and cash out for the TAOR conso picture.
Support Getafe Plant Workload and budget controlling in operational areas and programs.
Automatization processes participation and tools to optimise the resource plan
Challenge the business to ensure an accurate performance planning.
Anticipate financial risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
Produce accurate financial reporting, at the appropriate level of granularity.
Assess the actual financial performance, analyze deviations and advise on corrective actions.
Generating the following outputs:
The Operations controller will support to define and stablish common procedures and ways of working to assure the efficiency performance of the matrix organization by programs, functions and legal entities.
Financial driver analysis and reporting of the TAOR activity performance (budgets by cost centers and Programs), workload controlling, etc.

Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
A least 2 years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of:
Finance
Project Management
Excellent financial skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince
Experience of working in a matrix environment with proven record of successful stakeholder management
Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
Negotiation level of English
