Satair’s team of Export Control Specialists is looking for a new colleague to join us in the exciting world of international export control laws and regulations. Our team is truly global and comes from many countries and with different backgrounds. This is your chance to become an expert in global trade and export control!

For Satair’s office near Copenhagen Airport, we are looking for a new member to join our Export Control department. We are working with Danish, European and US export control laws as well as Airbus directives to ensure that our export business is compliant and in line with regulations.

What the job is …

With reference to the Head of Export Control & Customs and in cooperation with your peers in our global export control team and the business functions, you will be handling our export control licences and support the business to ensure timely delivery to our customers.

You will also be working with the business to ensure high export control standards and awareness training as well as the development of business processes. Your responsibility will include the analysis of orders and deliveries to proactively guide the business about best practice and optimization of order flows. Your role will also include audit support, reporting this to the Head of function and various compliance and documentation responsibilities.

Your responsibility will, among other areas, be within:

  • Product Classification (ECCN)

  • Customer Risk determination

  • Export License analysis and management

  • End Use Statement analysis

  • Business transaction monitoring

  • Record Keeping

  • Ad hoc tasks

Limited travel, depending on the tasks to be carried out.

How you will contribute to the team

We are looking for a team player who can work independently when needed and with excellent command of both written and spoken Danish and English to be able to read and understand law texts and documents. Knowledge of both Danish, US and EU law is preferred.

As a person, you are analytical, detail-oriented and well structured.
