We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.


What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Job Description

This work will bring the applicant a view of the certification process of a military aircraft and military UAV (A330 MRTT, C-295, Eurodrone…) (C-295, A330 MRTT,
Eurodrone…) and in particular the generation and approval of the certified operational Manuals.


The applicant can contribute to the production of manuals related to air system
Operational Certification for flight crew as Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) or Weight and Balance Manual (WBM). He/She will get involved in an international environment with possibility to learn about aircraft systems and its impact within operational manuals for military aircrafts.


Also in the Operational Suitability Data (OSD) including Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) projects, Extended-range Twin-engine Operation Performance Standards (ETOPS/METOPS) projects, Special Military Operations); defining the applicable certification requirements and its demonstration of compliance, for the different Airbus Defence & Space Products (C295, A330 MRTT, Eurodrone, etc…).


The applicant will get involved in an international and multidisciplinary environment with possibility to learn about aircraft systems and its impact within operational manuals for military aircrafts and military UAVs.

The applicant will work in coordination with design office, including relevant CVE
(Compliance Verification Engineer), Chief Engineer and Services Organisation; and also will discuss in front of EASA/Military Airworthiness Authorities and Customers.


Being able to improve procedures related to Operational Manuals, with Agile
methodologies and exploring new Digitalization ways of working.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
- Advanced level of English.

- Advanced level of Spanish
- General knowledge in aeronautical systems.
- A/C Piloting knowledges is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn about operational manuals and airworthiness.

You will take care of Export Control topics: Ensure that flight operations manuals and communications are compliant with export control regulations. This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized
authorities.
